Well.....What a day. Lets start from the beginning. Tim and I decided to get us a flat screen TV for Christmas. I had been looking at the Black Friday website for a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. I found the perfect TV at Circuit City. I researched it online for a week. It was a great TV for a SUPER deal. (you know me...I only buy when things are on sale). My Mom said she would go with me to Circuit City and help me get the TV(I love my Mom). I picked her up at 4:40am and we arrived at the store at exactly 5am. Picture this...when we got there, there was already a line of about 200 people that wrapped around the building. Most of them had been there since Thanksgiving night!! I'm not that crazy...Just a little CRAZY. So my Mom and I got inside really quickly and got in the TV Line. After about a 1/2 an hour they told us the Sharp 46" TV's were sold out. Yessssss I thought. I was after the 42" Sharp LCD/HDTV. Circuit City was so unorganized. They had 2 lines going for the same TV's. We finally figured that out and my mom stood in the other one. It took about 10 minutes for each person to get a TV. The Employees kept telling us that the 46" was the only one that had sold out. My mom and I finally got to the front of the line at the same time. She came over to my line and we went to the register to purchase the TV. The time was 8:00 am. We had waited in line for 3 hours!!!!! Anyway, I told him what TV I was after and he told me "Sorry, we have sold out of that one. We told you guys a while ago" WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone in line behind us was there to purchase the same TV as me. Circuit City never told anyone when that TV Sold out. I turned around to the line and made the dreaded announcement. "The TV is sold out". Everyone was outraged because we waited in line for 3 hours only to find out they sold out a long time ago. Circuit City wanted us to buy different TV's. That is why they didn't tell us. I will never shop at Circuit City again. My Mom and I missed all of the other sales at other stores for this. So, in the years to come, if I ever say I am going to buy a "Hot Deal" item on Black Friday, please stop me!!
P.S. - Congratulations to my Sister Aly!!!! She waited outside in line at RC Willey from 1:30am to 8:00am to get her flat screen. She didn't get her 1st pick, but she got her 2nd TV pick! We will be watching movies at her house from now on!!!!!

You have to admit, Kara, that it was quite the experience and I met a couple of nice guys in front of me. They both go what they had come for!
