2 kids and a recipe

Who does this picture remind you of? Cooper insisted on having a blanket around his shoulders while he ate breakfast because he was cold. It definately reminds me of someone.
I went to Target today and found that they have new stuff in the dollar section. Yay! It's like Christmas everytime that happens. I found these really cute bug nets and a catcher. Anyway, I was in my bedroom cleaning when I heard the side door open with footsteps going down to the backyard. I went out back and found these two looking for bugs. Too cute!

If you didn't notice in the first picture, yes - Sophie is in her undies. She did manage to put on her shoes though. I know I should have ran out the first pair of pants I came across, but she looked too funny. I thought the camera was better. :)

I made this for dinner last night. It was so good and low in fat. (Not that it matters after all the chocolate I have eaten today, oops)

Chicken Lo Mein

1 boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed ( I used already cooked rotissierre chicken, shredded)

2 tbl. olive oil (I only used a little bit because my chicken was already cooked)

1/2 lb. spagetti noodles, cooked and drained

1/2 bag of frozen stir fry vegetables ( I only had broccoli, so that's what I used. This would be better)

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup soy sauce (I would use less next time, maybe 1/4 or 1/3 cup)

1 tbl. cornstarch

1 chicken bouillon cube

2 cloves garlic, minced

Mix together broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, bouillon, and garlic - heat over medium heat until it thickens. In large skillet, heat olive oil and add chicken. Cook until almost done, and add vegetables. Cook until heated through. Add noodles and sauce and mix together. Cook for 2-3 more minutes stirring frequently.

I like the dollar section there & at Michaels they had some really cute notebooks a few months ago. Cute bug nets that is like the one Cooper wanted from that store I refuse to name. That Lo Mein looks superb I am going to make that this week! MMMM.. good receipe Karat. Cute undies Sopha.
OH.. and WOW! I can't believe Tim jr.! That brings back memories. Next he'll be lining up the cereal boxes to keep all the skin flakes out of his cereal. That's right SKIN FLAKES.

It is a Brezoff blanket thing both Bryan and Addy wrap in blankets year round. Now Natalie is starting to do it! I love the undies too cute for words! I saw the nets at Maceys but my first thought was "my kids will just beat on each other with them so I walked right on past!

Great BUG catchers---Sophie must have been cold. I guess the excitement made it so she didn't notice.

The Lo Mein looks delicious, I wish dad liked it. You may have to invite me over the next time you make it!
